It was nice to see Allentown on the web. I have been living in SC for the last 14 years. I see Nick is still hanging in there and Lori Rouser. I last avolunteered in the Keowee Key Fire Department in Salem, SC. I know live in Greer, SC (Greenville County) when I volunteered in Salem they were far behind us in Prince Georges county. geosugarcreek@aol.com

My father was Chief for a time in the 50's and I spent more time than I should have hanging out at the firehouse. Many fond memories of the place and the fine men who volunteered. I live in Seattle now but stopped by while back there on business recently and the service ethic continues if all else about Allentown has changed beyond recognition

I was a member in the 8o's Clarence was the Chief, Vern was Deputy. I remember Richard Costello RIP. I ended up going to Oxon Hill but my best times were with ARVFD 32. Where did Kenny Boswell end up ?

I miss those days

I am a Life Member, Past President, Past Chief, Friend of Nick and others. I now reside in Alabama, near other family members. Joined your Department in the mid fifties. Was appointed to The D.C. Fire Dept in 1956 - attained the rank of Deputy Fire Chief - retired in 1985. Firefighting has been a big part of my life. Proud of ARVFD.
